Today, October 18, 2024, the main day of the International Forum of Social Entrepreneurs and Investors “INNOSIB-2024” is taking place in the Congress Hall. The forum was officially opened by the Governor of the Omsk Region Vitaly Khotsenko. Representatives of the Government of the Omsk Region, deputies of the regional parliament, members of public and non-profit organizations, the volunteer movement, social entrepreneurs from nine constituent entities of the Russian Federation and twelve foreign countries gathered at the grand opening.

 
The main topic of the forum this year was the national development goals of the country, defined by Russian President Vladimir Putin for the next six years. 
At the plenary session, a greeting from the President of Russia was announced to the participants, organizers and guests of INNOSIB. The leader of the country in his address noted that the forum had significantly strengthened its position as an expert platform for discussing current problems in the development of the domestic economy and the social sphere.
Before the official part, the guests of honor got acquainted with the exhibition of projects and products of social entrepreneurs from Omsk and the Omsk region. 
 

 
It has been noted that every year more and more people with an active lifestyle are involved in social business. 
A rich program was prepared for the guests. During the plenary session on the topic “National development goals of the country: strategies and practices for achieving success”, discussions, exhibitions, round tables, its participants got acquainted with the best regional experience and practices, promising projects and innovations in industry and industry. agriculture, healthcare and ecology, education and municipal administration. In addition, much attention is paid to the issues of supporting families, especially large families, increasing the role of women in the life of the state and society, creating conditions for their self-realization and professional and personal growth.
 

 
Within the framework of the forum, a panel discussion "Challenges and prospects for sustainable development of rural areas" was held, moderated by Alexander Artemov. Experts, specialists in the field of the agricultural sector of the economy, government and public figures, representatives of business and the scientific community, heads of municipalities of the Omsk region discussed the main factors that provide greater effect and results in the development of rural areas, the impact on social improvement and the provision of infrastructure, increasing the competitiveness of the domestic products and creating conditions for further development of agriculture.
The speaker of the regional parliament emphasized that increasing the level of employment, quality of life, and accessibility of social services for the rural population is a strategically important task for public authorities.
 

 
“Russian President Vladimir Putin, at a meeting with the heads of municipalities of the country’s constituent entities, said that the program for the integrated development of rural areas will be continued. The authorities are working in this direction,” noted Alexander Artemov. “It is necessary to increase the participation of the rural population in resolving issues directly affecting socio-economic development rural areas."
Alexander Artemov also spoke about regional measures of social support for doctors, teachers and other rural social workers, as well as support for local initiatives of citizens who live in rural areas.

The chairman of the All-Russian public-state organization "Union of Women of Russia" Ekaterina Lakhova arrived in Omsk especially to participate in the INNOSIB forum. The day before, a meeting was held at the Legislative Assembly between the speaker of the regional parliament and Ekaterina Lakhova, at which issues of social entrepreneurship and the contribution of women were discussed in the development of entrepreneurship and strengthening the country's economy, current initiatives aimed at supporting the family, taking into account traditional values.
 

 
Tomorrow, October 19, 2024, the forum will continue. During the day there will be events during which guests will get acquainted with the social business of the Omsk region.
 
It should be noted that INNOSIB has been held in the Omsk region since 2011. Every year, the forum discusses various topics that touch on the development and support of social entrepreneurship. At its site, an initiative was born to enshrine in legislation the status of a social entrepreneur, who, working at the intersection of charity and commerce, is focused not only on making a profit, but also on solving important social problems.
