ARTEMOV ALEXANDER VASILYEVICH 

("UNITED RUSSIA")  

Born on April 20, 1963 in Tara, Omsk Region.

After completing his studies at school, he entered the history department of Omsk State Pedagogical Institute named after A. M. Gorky, who graduated with honors in 1985 with a degree in history, social science, and Soviet law, is a secondary school teacher.

He began his career as a mechanic in kindergarten №5 in Tara (1980-1981), worked as a laboratory assistant in the USSR History Department at Omsk State Pedagogical Institute (1981), served in the Armed Forces (1985-1986), and worked as a history teacher at Tara Secondary School №11.

From 1986 to 1991, he was the second and first secretary of the Tara City Committee of the Komsomol. He held the positions of manager, deputy head of the administration of the Tarsky district (1991-1997).

In 1997, he was appointed chairman of the committee on youth policy and tourism of the Administration of the Omsk region, which he headed until May 1998. From 1998, he was manager of affairs, and from 2003 to 2004 - deputy governor of the Omsk region.

From January 2004 to April 2009 - Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Omsk region, head of the apparatus of the Governor of the Omsk region. Until December 2011, he worked as Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Omsk region. From 2007 to 2016 - Secretary of the Political Council of the All-Russian Political Party "United Russia", from 2016 to the present - member of the Presidium of the Political Council of the Omsk Regional Branch of the All-Russian Political Party "United Russia".

In 2011, he was elected as a deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region in a single regional electoral district from the electoral association "Omsk Regional Branch of the All-Russian Political Party" United Russia ", head of the United Russia faction in the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region.
 
In 2016, 2021, he was elected as a deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region in a single regional electoral district from the Omsk Regional Branch of the All-Russian Political Party "United Russia", Deputy Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region, until 2024, head of the United Russia faction in the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region.

On July 13, 2023, he was elected Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region.

Hobbies: skiing.
