On October 24, 2024, at the next plenary meeting, deputies of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region supported the draft law “On Amendments to the Code of the Omsk Region on the Social Protection of Certain Categories of Citizens” introduced by the Governor of the Omsk Region, adopting the document in all readings at once. According to the new law, the size of a one-time cash payment to citizens awarded state awards of the Omsk region - the Mother's Glory medal, the Father's Valor medal, has been increased from 10,000 rubles to 25,000 rubles. Other laws have been adopted aimed at supporting certain categories of citizens.

From October 17 to 19, 2024, the XIII International Forum of Social Entrepreneurs and Investors “INNOSIB-2024” is being held in the Omsk region. Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region Alexander Artemov and deputies of the regional parliament took part in a discussion of the development of social business, promotion of useful initiatives and coalition interaction of all civil society institutions.

On September 29-30, 2024, the Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region, Alexander Artemov, paid a working visit to the Lugansk People's Republic. During the trip, the speaker of the regional parliament discussed issues of inter-parliamentary interaction, visited a military unit formed in the Omsk region, took part in an event dedicated to the presentation of Russian passports, and met with the Chairman of the People's Council of the Lugansk People's Republic Denis Miroshnichenko.

On September 26, 2024, the first plenary meeting of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region took place in the autumn session. Opening the session, Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region Alexander Artemov set tasks and outlined key areas in the work of deputies. This is the formation and adoption of the budget for 2025, the implementation of national projects, including new ones, strengthening parliamentary control over the implementation of state programs, support for large families and others. One of the priorities is helping SVO participants and their families.

The regional parliament is preparing for the first plenary meeting of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region in the autumn session, which is scheduled for September 26, 2024. The first meetings of the relevant committees of the Legislative Assembly after the parliamentary recess took place on September 16, 19 and 20, 2024.

Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region Alexander Artemov visited the ceremonial events dedicated to the Day of Knowledge and the opening of educational institutions - the Omaviat engineering lyceum and the Center for Elite Engineering Education school of PJSC ONHP.

On July 11, 2024, the last meeting of the regional parliament in the spring session took place. Deputies discussed bills on the transformation of settlements that are part of municipal districts, on the implementation of the regional budget for 2023 and other laws. Concluding the meeting, Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region Alexander Artemov noted that during the session 8 plenary meetings were held, at which more than 75 regional laws were adopted. At the same time, he emphasized: “We are responsible for ensuring that regional legislation works to achieve the goals set in the message of the President of the Russian Federation. This is the main priority in our work today.”

On July 2, 2024, public hearings were held in the regional parliament on the annual report on the execution of the regional budget for 2023. The event was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region Valery Boyko and Pavel Korennoy, First Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Omsk Region Rustam Mingazov, deputies of the regional parliament, members of the Government of the Omsk Region, representatives of regional ministries and departments, territorial government bodies of the Russian Federation, local governments, Chamber of Control and Accounts of the Omsk Region and the media.

On June 20, 2024, deputies of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region at the regular plenary meeting heard a report from the Governor of the Omsk Region on the results of the activities of the Government of the Omsk Region in 2023, and also considered bills relating to the housing sector, urban planning activities and other issues.
