On November 29, 2022, a meeting of the Youth Chamber of Deputies under the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region was held at the Regional Public Relations Center. The composition of the chamber was changed, issues of interaction between the chamber and the Resource Center for the Development of Volunteering of the Omsk Region, the results of the 2022 admission campaign to higher and secondary vocational educational institutions of the Omsk Region and other information were considered.
Chairman of the Youth Chamber of Deputies of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region, deputy of the regional parliament Ilya Smirnov began the meeting by considering organizational issues. The young deputies of the chamber first discussed the issue of terminating the powers of members of the Youth Chamber of Deputies of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region.
In connection with the termination of the deputy powers of the deputies of the Omsk City Council of the sixth convocation I.A. Ivchenko, K.N. Kuryatnikov, E.A. Leontyev, and also on the basis of a written statement by A.V. Ignatova, it was decided to terminate their powers as members of the Youth Chamber of Deputies under the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region from November 29, 2022.
Then, having reviewed the information about the written applications received by the regional parliament committee on education, science, culture and youth policy, the young parliamentarians decided to include in the Youth Chamber of Deputies of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region the deputies of the Omsk City Council Taimas Mratovich Abdualinov, Natalya Nikolaevna Astapchik, Konstantin Sergeevich Gavrik and the chairman of the Youth Chamber of Deputies of the Council of the Omsk Municipal District of the Omsk Region Viktor Vladimirovich Drakunov.
Further on the agenda of the meeting of the chamber, information was heard on the interaction of the Youth Chamber of Deputies under the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region and the budgetary institution of the Omsk Region "Resource Center for the Development of Volunteering of the Omsk Region" within the framework of the #WEARETOGETHER project. A report on this issue was made by the director of the BOO "Resource Center for the Development of Volunteering of the Omsk Region" Galina Moiseeva. Attention was paid to measures to provide assistance to mobilized personnel and their families. The discussion included the preparation of gifts and holiday events for the New Year for the children of mobilized personnel.
The members of the chamber comprehensively reviewed the results of the 2022 admission campaign to higher and secondary vocational educational institutions of the Omsk region, as well as the results of the 2022 summer health campaign. The young parliamentarians were told in detail about these issues by, respectively, the Deputy Minister of Education of the Omsk Region Elena Korchagina and the Director of the budgetary institution of the Omsk Region "Directorate of programs in the field of health and recreation of minors" Natalia Kalugina.
The meeting also discussed information on the activities of the Public Youth Chamber (Youth Parliament) under the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation for 2022 and the work of the Chamber of Young Legislators under the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation for 2022. The event participants were informed of this by the speaker of the Youth Chamber of Deputies Ilya Smirnov and the deputy chairman of the Youth Chamber of Deputies under the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region Anton Remnev.
Having considered during the meeting the letter of the Deputy Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation B.A. Chernyshov dated October 24, 2022 on holding the international action "Test on the History of the Great Patriotic War" on December 2, 2022 in the Omsk Region, the Youth Chamber of Deputies decided to recommend that the youth chambers of deputies under the Councils of municipal districts of the Omsk Region take part in this action.
Another decision made at the meeting concerned the plans for the work of the Youth Chamber of Deputies for 2023. Members of the chamber were asked to submit their proposals to the plan by January 1, 2023.
