At the first meeting of the autumn session held today, September 24, 2020, Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region Vladimir Varnavsky outlined the main directions of the upcoming work of the regional parliament. The deputies heard a message from the Governor of the Omsk Region, Alexander Burkov, about the state of affairs in the Omsk Region, and also discussed more than 30 issues. They concerned an increase in social spending, benefits for investors and tax preferences for entrepreneurs. In addition, changes to the regional budget were approved.
Introducing
consideration of issues on the agenda of the meeting, and it began in the conference room

Deputies paid attention to the main financial document of the Omsk Irtysh region,
having approved the changes proposed by the Ministry of Finance of the Omsk Region to the Law of the Omsk Region "On Regional
budget for 2020 and for the planning period 2021 and 2022."
In accordance with it, revenues and expenses of the regional budget for 2020 will increase
almost 10 billion rubles.
Provided
redistribution of regional budget funds across
a number of expenditure items to solve priority problems, as a result of which increased
budgetary allocations for measures of social support of the population, medicinal
provision of certain categories of citizens, repairs and logistics
provision of educational institutions and other items of expenditure.

subsidies, including to ensure the provision of medical care to patients with new
coronavirus infection, to compensate for the decrease in tax and
non-tax revenues of the consolidated budget of the Omsk region in connection with
pandemic of a new coronavirus infection. Subsidies have been increased, in particular for
making monthly payments for children aged three to seven years, for
organization of free hot meals for students receiving primary
general education in state and municipal educational
organizations for government support of small and medium-sized
entrepreneurship. In addition, an increase in subventions and other
interbudgetary transfers for various items of expenditure in the healthcare sector,
education, road activities and other sectors of the economy.

2024 validity period for tax benefits in the Omsk region,
established by the law "On certain issues of establishing the tax rate

simplified tax system and (or) patent system
