In the regional parliament bythere were schoolchildren from the Kormilovsky district
On November 5, 2024, the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region was visited by students of educational organizations of the Kormilovsky municipal district of the Omsk Region. The schoolchildren saw how a meeting of the regional parliament was held, learned about the principles by which legislative activity is based, the rich history of the parliament building, and also got acquainted with museum exhibitions.
Svetlana Enverova, deputy of the regional parliament, deputy chairman of the committee on agrarian policy, natural resources and ecology, gave the children an educational tour of the building, which was built more than a century ago.
The schoolchildren visited the ceremonial hall of the regional parliament, the plenary meeting hall, and visited exhibitions. During the meeting, guests learned about the history of the Assembly building from the formation of Omsk as a strategically important military-administrative center of Siberia to the present day.
Svetlana Enverova told high school students in detail about the main directions of activity of the deputy corps, the work of committees and factions, legislative activity, the principles of the structure of government bodies, the deputy activity of people's representatives, the peculiarities of lawmaking and adopted laws.
The children had the opportunity to sit in parliamentary chairs, vote using the electronic voting system, and learn about the procedure for holding meetings and making decisions.
Students were also given a presentation on the structure of the Assembly, the procedure for developing and adopting bills, the interaction of parliament with regional councils and the work of the Youth Chamber of Deputies at the regional parliament. During the conversation, Svetlana Enverova answered questions of interest.
The students visited an exhibition dedicated to the history of the formation of the regional parliament, which presented materials on the activities of the Assembly, archival documents, photographs of deputies of all seven convocations and other exhibits.
An exposition was also presented in honor of the 60th anniversary of the Omsk regional student detachment, demonstrating the contribution of student detachments to the development of various industries and the economy, as well as participation in modern labor projects, volunteer and patriotic actions.
It is worth noting that conducting excursions to the Legislative Assembly for representatives of educational institutions has already become a tradition. In previous years, hundreds of schoolchildren from the region's districts and students of Omsk colleges and universities visited the parliament. Thanks to such meetings, children will learn about how government bodies work and how young people themselves can influence the development of their settlement, city and the entire region.
