Today at the public support headquarters, Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region Alexander Artemov, his deputies Valery Boyko and Pavel Korennoy, as well as the head of the United Russia faction in the regional parliament Vadim Berezhnoy met with children from low-income families and families where their fathers left for their own homes.
On the eve of September 1, the children were presented with school backpacks and stationery sets.
As noted by Alexander Artemov, the action takes place in different places of Omsk and the region and thanked everyone who joined it.
After presenting the gifts, the speaker of the Legislative Assembly and his colleagues held a round table where they discussed the readiness of the region's schools for the educational cycle. The meeting was joined by the First Deputy Minister of Education of the region Anatoly Polynsky, representatives of the Department of Education of the Omsk City Administration, municipal district education committees and school principals. They discussed ensuring anti-terrorist and fire safety, compliance with the requirements of sanitary norms and regulations, as well as material and technical equipment of educational institutions.
More than 80 percent of educational organizations in the Omsk region have been accepted by the beginning of the new academic year.
As the participants noted, in general, educational institutions are ready for the beginning of the educational cycle. First of all, this is due to an increase in funds for major repairs of schools. Last year, one and a half billion rubles were allocated. There are more than three in this one.
In the Omsk Region, almost 1,400 educational organizations have been submitted for readiness assessment, including 464 pre-school educational organizations, 674 general education organizations, 47 professional educational organizations, 194 organizations of additional education, as well as organizations for orphans and children left without parental care.
In addition to the control of relevant departments, the action "Parental Acceptance" is currently being held as part of the New School party project. Representatives of the deputy corps, activists of primary schools and the parent community assess the state of educational institutions in the city and municipal districts of the region
