Today the action took place simultaneously in 11 regions of the country, where the Eternal Flames were lit at 22 memorial complexes. In Omsk region on this day memorial objects in Gorkovsky, Pavlogradsky, Okoneshnikovsky and Sherbakul municipal areas.

At the ceremony in Gorkovsky municipal district with the inclusion of video conferencing were present top officials of the region, Deputy Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region Pavel Korennoy, deputies of the regional parliament, representatives of authorities government authorities, heads of municipal districts, heads of divisions of the Group of Companies "Gazprom Mezhregiongaz", JSC "Omskoblgaz", construction enterprises, members of veterans and youth public organizations, local residents.
After the official ceremony the participants events honored the memory of the victims and laid flowers at the memorial complex "To the fellow countrymen who died in battles for their Motherland during the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945."
