On April 19, 2022, the Committee of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region on Social Policy held a round table on the topic “On the availability and quality of free medical care to the population, including medical rehabilitation within the framework of compulsory medical insurance in the Omsk region."
Discuss current issues of providing free medical care
assistance brought together a wide range of participants: Deputy Chairman
Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region Alexander Artemov, committee deputies
on social policy of the regional parliament, representatives of regional
ministries of health, finance, territorial compulsory fund
medical insurance of the Omsk region, Chamber of Control and Accounts of the Omsk
region, regional prosecutor's office, Federation of Omsk trade unions, Public
Chamber of the Omsk Region, Public Council for
conducting an independent assessment of the quality of service conditions
medical organizations under the regional Ministry of Health, charitable
the "Embracing the Sky" Foundation and, of course, medical organizations of Omsk
area.
"The purpose of our round table is to identify and
deal with the problems that arise in the Omsk region when
provision of free medical care; try to find ways to solve them, including
including through legislative activity. Find out if internal
opportunities to solve these problems. Perhaps some issues can be resolved,
having carried out certain organizational activities," the chairman said
Committee of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region on Social Policy Igor
Popov, opening the event, gave the floor to the speakers with the main
reports.
They talked about the availability and quality of free
medical assistance to the population, including medical rehabilitation within the framework of
compulsory medical insurance in the Omsk region, about
accessibility of medical care and rehabilitation of cancer patients, about
participation in the compulsory medical insurance of a multidisciplinary center
modern medicine "Euromed" in medical rehabilitation according to
areas of patient rehabilitation, about the prospects for the development of the system
medical rehabilitation in the Omsk region.

provision of free medical care, including financial, personnel and organizational, noting

process of providing medical care.
Concluding the discussion of the information presented, Igor Popov
stressed that the dialogue that took place was very useful. "Deputies, bodies
authorities, medical organizations - we heard each other," he said.
At the end of the meeting, those present reviewed the draft recommendations
"round table". Taking into account the proposals made, the project
planned to be discussed and approved at the next meeting of the Committee on Social
politics.
