Deputies considered a block of issues related to recommendations based on the results of round tables and parliamentary hearings held by committees of the State Duma and the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation. In particular, based on the results of round tables on the topics “Development of scientific and technical creativity of children in the system of additional education: problems and solutions”, “Implementation of the housing rights of orphans: problems and ways to solve them”. During the meeting, the draft federal law “On Amendments to Article 703 of Part Two of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation” was considered, as well as the revised draft regional law “On Amendments to the Code of the Omsk Region on Social Protection of Certain Categories of Citizens”, which provides, in particular , the extension of social support measures not only to orphans, children left without parental care, as well as children whose parents, adoptive parents or guardians (trustees) cannot fulfill their duties in relation to children, but also to children temporarily staying in organizations for orphans and children left without parental care, during the period when parents, adoptive parents or guardians (trustees) for good reasons cannot fulfill their duties in relation to the children.
