One of the main items on the agenda of the committee meeting was question about the draft regional law "On the regional budget for 2021 and planning period 2022 and 2023" (preparation of a conclusion on the compliance of the submitted documents requirements of Article 12 of the Law of the Omsk Region "On the Budget Process in the Omsk region).

October 30, 2020 Government Omsk region introduced a bill to the regional parliament. On today's meeting of the committee of deputies, having considered the draft regional budget for 2021-2023 years to comply with the requirements of Article 12 of the regional law on the budget process in Omsk region, noted that the composition of documents and materials presented in Meeting by the regional government in a package with a bill, corresponds to established list.
In addition, the committee decided to recommend the chairman of the regional parliament to send the draft law to the committees of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk region, other subjects of the right of legislative initiative, in Chamber of Control and Accounts of the Omsk Region to prepare opinions on the said bill containing proposals for its adoption or rejection, as well as comments and suggestions on the main indicators of the regional budget considered in the first reading.



Also committee decided to propose to the Speaker of the Legislative Meetings to schedule public hearings on the draft law on the regional budget for 2021 and for the planning period 2022 and 2023 at 15:00 November 19, 2020 year. Official documents about the event public hearings will be published in the newspaper "Omsky Vestnik" 6 November 2020.
By the way, at the same committee meeting, deputies approved regulations for public hearings on the draft budget. In addition, parliamentarians approved the committee’s work plan for 2021 and proposals for the work plan Chamber of Control and Accounts of the Omsk Region for 2021.
