The hearing participants considered issues of state youth policy in the regional aspect, its current state, problems and prospects; got acquainted with the experience of implementing youth policy in territory of the Omsk municipal district; discussed measures for implementation youth policy in the field of education and support for talented youth.
Information was presented in the speeches of the guests on creating conditions for youth employment and promoting their economic activity; the experience of the Omsk regional student team was heard; talked about the participation of members of the Youth Chamber of Deputies at the Legislative Meetings in the work on the implementation of rights and legitimate interests of young people. Interest of the audience prompted reports concerning patriotic work of the Omsk regional branch of the All-Russian social movement "Volunteers of Victory"; participation young Omsk residents in the preparation and holding of the World Youth Festival and students in Sochi in 2017.
Youth health protection, formation socio-cultural youth environment and beliefs about the inadmissibility illegal activities - these and other topics formulated on the agenda parliamentary hearings, as well as specific proposals that can intensify youth policy in the region, were reflected in the recommendations adopted at parliamentary hearings. Having analyzed main directions of implementation of youth policy in the Omsk region, participants in parliamentary hearings identified areas for its further development, proposing a whole list measures to optimize one of the priority areas of regional activity legislative and executive powers.
