The exhibition-competition is held by the Legislative Assembly Omsk region together with the Ministry of Culture of the Omsk region and Omsk branch of the VTOO “Union of Artists of Russia” for the purposes of:
- identifying and supporting gifted and talented children youth in the field of fine arts;
- fostering a sense of patriotism and love of history and the culture of the native land;
- fostering respect for nature, formation and promotion of a healthy lifestyle;
- drawing attention to the problems of environmental conservation environment, flora and fauna, unique corners of nature in its small homeland;
- formation of a patriotic civic position younger generation and in connection with the 25th anniversary of the Legislative Assembly of Omsk region.
TO works of students in educational institutions are accepted to participate in the exhibition-competition organizations of the Omsk region in the field of culture and art, implementing pre-professional and general developmental programs in fine arts.
Competition entries are accepted in the following techniques: graphic composition, pictorial composition. Participants perform in three age groups categories: 7-10 years; 10-13 years; 14-17 years old.
Subject of competition works:
- Omsk is modern;
- History of the Omsk region;
- Nature of the Native Land;
- Siberian still life;
- Traditions and life of the peoples of Siberia;
- People and events of the Omsk Irtysh region.

Exhibition will be open to the public from March 6 to March 25, 2019.

Opening of the exhibition - March 6 at 12.00 o'clock in the exhibition hall hall of the House of Artists at the address: Omsk, st. Lermontova, 8.

The award ceremony for the winners will take place on March 25 2019 at 15.00 in the exhibition hall of the House of Artists at the address: Omsk, st. Lermontov, 8.
