The first meeting of the operational working group of the Legislative Assembly Committee of the Omsk Region on Social Policy was held to prepare proposals for improving the regulatory legal acts of the Omsk Region governing the provision of social support measures to young professionals working in the healthcare sector , education, culture (including measures aimed at providing housing).
Decision to create an operational
working group in order to retain young specialists in rural areas
was adopted during a visiting committee meeting of the Legislative Assembly
Omsk region on social policy, held on June 9, 2017 in the city.
Kalachinsk. The meeting discussed the issue of providing medical care
citizens living on the territory of the Kalachinsky municipal district of Omsk
region (on ensuring accessibility and quality of medical care, increasing
volumes and types of medical services).
First things first
meeting of the operational working group, which took place today under
chaired by the head of the working group, the chairman of the committee
Legislative Assembly on social policy Vadim Berezhny, were
representatives of regional ministries, the Main State Legal
Department of the Omsk Region, Omsk Regional Union of Trade Union Organizations
"Federation of Omsk Trade Unions".
Opening
meeting, Vadim Berezhnoy drew the attention of those gathered to the relevance of creating
working group and outlined the main issues that it will have to consider.
Stressing that the problem of retaining young specialists in rural areas is becoming
increasingly acute, he proposed to focus attention at today's meeting on the topic
providing various monetary compensations for housing.

in particular, information from the Ministry of Finance of the Omsk region on budget
allocations aimed at implementing social support measures for young people
specialists working in rural areas in the fields of health care,

Omsk region on social support measures provided to young people
specialists working in rural areas in the field of health care, and about
providing housing for young professionals (doctors and specialists with secondary
medical education) in municipal districts of the Omsk region in 2016
year.
About the situation with
support for young professionals now and plans for 2018
representatives of regional ministries said in their speeches. While discussing the information received
the meeting participants paid special attention to the implementation of certain provisions
federal target program "Sustainable development of rural areas in
2014-2017 and for the period until 2020", aimed at providing affordable
and comfortable housing for citizens living in rural areas, including
young families and young professionals.
During the conversation, those gathered expressed various
proposals aimed at increasing the effectiveness of supporting young people
rural specialists. As a result, it was decided to recommend to the regional
the Ministry of Finance, when forming the budget of the Omsk region for 2018, to provide
funds for the implementation of additional measures of social support for young people
specialists working in rural areas in the field of health, education and culture (including measures aimed at providing housing); continue work on preparing proposals to improve regulatory
legal acts of the Omsk region in order to
consolidation of young specialists in rural areas. In addition, it was decided to contact
governor of the Omsk region with a proposal that one of the deputies
the head of the region oversaw the provision of social support measures to young professionals in rural areas.
