A round table on the topic "On the organization and provision of palliative care in the Omsk region" was held today by the Committee of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region on Social Policy.

Thus, information was given about the provision of Omsk regional public organization of the BCPD "Rainbow" for palliative care for children in the territory Omsk region. In turn, the management of the charitable foundation “Hugging the Sky” told about the work of the foundation to provide organizational, consulting, material and other assistance to citizens, legal entities, bodies, organizations and institutions in connection with the promotion, development and providing palliative care to children and adults, their families and loved ones. Separately the meeting participants focused on the issue of training specialized medical personnel in the field of palliative care, including number of children.

During the interested and a comprehensive discussion of the stated topic, individual problems were identified for the provision of palliative care. Various proposals were also made on the further development of this area in healthcare. At the end of the meeting, noting the importance and relevance of the problems of providing palliative care, improving its accessibility and quality, the event participants discussed the project recommendations of the round table.



In it It was proposed, in particular, that the regional Ministry of Health consider possibility of meeting the additional needs of the Omsk region for cars for visiting palliative care services; Committee of the regional parliament on social politics - when considering issues of implementation in 2017 of the regional law on protecting the health of the population of Omsk region and on the implementation of the Territorial Program of State Guarantees free provision of medical care to citizens in the Omsk region in 2017 focus on the issues of organizing and providing palliative care medical care; regional Ministry of Labor and Social Development of the Omsk Region - to continue work on provision of social services at home to recipients of social services with taking into account their individual needs.
