On March 1, 2016, a seminar with deputies and heads of settlements of the Nizhneomsk municipal region, organized by the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region, will take place in the Nizhneomsk region. Deputies of the regional parliament and representatives of the Government of the Omsk region will take part in it. Under the chairmanship of the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, Vladimir Varnavsky, those gathered plan to discuss current issues of socio-economic development of the region. Particular attention will be paid to the development of agricultural production, passenger services by road transport in the region, as well as the powers of local governments in the sphere of regulating land and property relations.
