At the beginning meeting, deputies discussed the draft law “On amendments to the Law of the Omsk Region "On Cultural Objects heritage (historical and cultural monuments) of the peoples of the Russian Federation on territory of the Omsk region" and decided to recommend to the Legislative The Assembly accepts the bill for consideration. The document has been prepared for the purpose of bringing into compliance with federal legislation. It is proposed to clarify functions of the executive body of the Omsk region authorized in the field of security objects of cultural heritage, the procedure for making decisions in the field of establishing, changes, cessation of the existence of cultural heritage protection zones, including the joint zone for the protection of cultural heritage sites, as well as approval of requirements for urban planning regulations within the boundaries of data areas zones; exclude from the law provisions related to the installation of information inscriptions and signs on cultural objects heritage.

Committee considered other issues: about the appeal of the Chairman of the Control and Accounting chamber (KSP) of the Omsk region V.S. Cherneya on the preparation of proposals for the work plan KSP of the Omsk region for 2020; on proposals for the committee’s work plan for 2020 year; on holding a meeting of the Youth Chamber of Deputies at the Legislative Meetings of the Omsk region on October 31, 2019.

Besides, the composition of the working group under the regional parliament committee on education, science, culture and youth policy to consider proposals on the inclusion of representatives in the Public Chamber of the Omsk Region non-profit organizations registered in the Omsk region, in including regional public associations.
