On December 9, the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region, member of the Presidium of the Council of Legislators of the Russian Federation at the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Varnavsky, took part in the ceremonial meeting of the chambers of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and the Council of Legislators at the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Constitution and the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.
To the 20th anniversary of the Constitution of the Russian Federation
On December 9, the speaker of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region, member of the Presidium of the Council of Legislators of the Russian Federation at the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Varnavsky, took part in the ceremonial meeting of the chambers of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and the Council of Legislators at the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, dedicated 20th anniversary of the Constitution and the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.
The ceremonial meeting took place in Moscow, at the Bolshoi Theater. It was attended by Chairman of the Constitutional Court Valery Zorkin, Chairman of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko, Chairman of the State Duma Sergei Naryshkin, representatives of the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Russian Federation, members of the Federation Council, deputies of the State Duma of all convocations, as well as heads of executive and legislative authorities of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation .

Sergei Naryshkin spoke about the state of Russian legislation in his report. Valentina Matvienko in her speech spoke out for the need to give additional impetus to the development of the federal component of domestic parliamentarism. In her opinion, “the development of regional parliamentarism should become one of the main ways of development of our Federation for the foreseeable period.”
