In addition to deputies of the regional parliament and representatives of regional ministries, specialists from educational organizations, the Federal Tax Service of Russia for the Omsk Region and the Main State Legal Directorate of the Omsk Region gathered to discuss the topic.
The agenda included questions about the progress of implementation in the territory Omsk Region Decree of the President of the Russian Federation dated May 7, 2012 No. 596 “On long-term state economic policy”, on measures taken to improve the efficiency of budget expenditures in the Omsk Region, on measures to create favorable tax conditions for investment activities in the Omsk Region. Also considered were measures to improve property management in the Omsk region, changes in the field of education that would contribute to the achievement of the indicators provided for in paragraph 1 of the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation “On Long-Term State Economic Policy.”
Participants of the round table noted that in the Omsk region, in order to implement the decree “On Long-Term State Economic Policy,” a whole range of measures are being implemented. Among the main ones is the adoption and implementation of regulatory legal acts of the Omsk region, which provide stimulation of investment activity, which, in turn, contributes to the organization of new production facilities, the creation and modernization of highly productive jobs.
At the end of the meeting, those present reviewed the draft recommendations of the round table. In them, government authorities of the Omsk region are invited, in particular, to continue work on improving regional laws aimed at developing the economy of the Omsk region, to monitor and analyze the activities of business entities that have received state preferences. Participants in the round table can send their proposals and comments to the draft recommendations to the Committee on Economic Policy and Investment within 10 days from the date of the event.
