Speaker of the regional Parliament Alexander Artemov noted that on the eve of Russian Press Day "an excellent opportunity to look at the activities of the media both from the point of view representatives of government bodies and journalists themselves."

Participants of the round table discussed the problems and effectiveness of interaction between authorities and the media. The meeting touched upon, in particular, legal issues the fundamentals of media activity, the functions of modern media, and also discussed plans cooperation for 2024 and other issues.



“Fourth power" is a communication channel that helps the population talk about your aspirations and hopes. It is important that the population promptly receive clear, reliable information. Therefore, in modern conditions the position is valuable every journalist – from regional newspapers to federal media,” Alexander emphasized Artemov.



In conclusion meeting, the speaker of parliament thanked the media leaders for their joint work, timely and objective coverage of events in the region.
