The ceremony was attended by Acting Governor Vitaly Khotsenko and Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region Alexander Artemov. The region's top officials are members of the award's expert council and provide support in promoting the project.

Alexander Artemov made a welcoming speech and presented the "People's Hero" award in the "Intelligence" category, awarded for projects in the scientific field and education. The winner in this category was Irina Mikhailovna Ilyinykh, a doctor of the highest qualification category, obstetrician-gynecologist at the Regional Clinical Hospital. Over 40 years of work, Irina Mikhailovna has trained more than one generation of practical doctors - obstetricians and gynecologists.







“The award is taking on new dimensions - from Ust-Ishim to Cherlak,” noted Alexander Artemov. “Its participants include very young guys and gray-haired veterans. This suggests that the award is not just alive, but is acquiring a completely new scope.”
