The event was held with the participation of the Chairman of the Legislative Meetings of the Omsk region Alexander Artemov, Governor of the Omsk region Vitaly Khotsenko, deputies of the regional parliament, representatives of authorities state authorities and local government, athletes and amateurs sports



Traditionally, before visiting sports holiday, speaker of the regional parliament Alexander Artemov as part of the honorary delegation of guests laid flowers at the memorial complex "To the Warriors - participants of the Great Patriotic War" and visited the fair of folk crafts "Odessa Privoz", organized as part of the sports competition.



The culmination of the 54th Spartakiad was parade of municipal sports teams and opening ceremony rural winter sports festival at the stadium named after Olympic champion Gennady Room.

The holiday program included 13 sports. IN 1,300 rural athletes from 32 participated in the qualifying competitions districts of the Omsk Irtysh region. Almost all final competitions took place in Odessa region: competitions in cross-country skiing, hockey, mini-football, checkers and all-around GTO.



Updated infrastructure after completion regional competitions will continue to serve the development of mass sports in Odessa region, physical education of youth. It is worth noting that the Odessa municipal district is not the first once again hosts the guests of the "Festival of the North" - the main winter start for rural athletes was held here in 2017.
