Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region Alexander Artemov took part in the plenary part of the forum and presented Letters of Thanks from the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region to distinguished teachers.
 
The key topics of the forum were the priorities of modern schools, state opportunities in the field of education, the development of a single educational space, a new philosophy of education, the main vectors of building productive interaction between parents and educational organizations, and the formation of patriotic consciousness of schoolchildren.



The forum participants were addressed by top officials of the region, deputies of the State Duma. Minister of Education of the Russian Federation Sergey Kravtsov took part in the forum via video link and thanked all teachers of the region for their work. He noted that in connection with the Year of the Family declared by the President of Russia, the theme of educational events is related to family values.
 

 
The Governor of the Omsk region Vitaly Khotsenko summed up the preliminary results of the implementation of the presidential national project "Education", the participants discussed the development of the education sector in the region for the next academic year.
 
In his speech, Alexander Artemov stressed that education issues are among the priorities of state policy and this is understood at all levels of government:
"Deputies of the Legislative Assembly in cooperation with the Governor of the Omsk region and members of the regional government carry out legislative regulation of educational activities. The necessary legislative framework has been created in the region, and work is underway to improve it and bring it in line with federal standards."
 
 


The Speaker of the regional parliament paid special attention to the issues of patriotic education and preservation of traditional values.
"Without a doubt, the school has a huge potential for fostering patriotism among children. On the eve of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, it will be more urgent than ever to return to the heroic pages of our history. After all, it reflects, as in a mirror, the exploits of the soldiers of the special military operation today. These are our contemporaries, people of whom the country is proud. Many teachers joined the ranks of volunteers to support the Donbass and the participants of the Free Self-defense." 



Deputies of the regional parliament always readily respond to initiatives on patriotic education of young people.
"Along with legislative and control activities, deputies find opportunities for direct assistance to educational institutions," shared Alexander Artemov. "I think many people know that to support schools in the districts, deputies attract resources from enterprises, provide patronage assistance."
 
It is worth noting the important role of deputies in the field of career guidance and support for talented children.
"The School-University-Enterprise program has been operating for many years. Its initiators and organizers are deputies of the Legislative Assembly-leaders of the flagships of the leading sectors of the region's economy. Thanks to their caring attitude to the fate of the younger generation, every year dozens of children and young people open the way to the world of high technologies and high - tech industries," said the Chairman of the regional parliament.



At the end of his speech, Alexander Artemov thanked teachers for their dedication and presented Letters of Appreciation from the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region to the most distinguished employees of the education sector for their active participation in the implementation of federal projects within the framework of the national project "Education" in the region.
 
The VI regional August forum of education workers of the Omsk region will continue its work until August 23 in various formats: thematic platforms, business games, round tables and master classes dedicated to the main topics of the forum.
