At the traditional meeting of veterans of the Great Patriotic War with Speaker of the regional parliament Alexander Artemov, Governor of the Omsk region Vitaly Khotsenko, deputies of parliament, representatives of government bodies, members of veterans and youth public organizations, cadets, military personnel and their families arrived with military personnel of the Omsk garrison.



Participants in the ceremony laid wreaths at the Memorial Flame, symbolizing the memory of heroism and the courage of the defenders of the Fatherland, and honored the memory of the victims with a minute of silence.



For guests interactive platforms and exhibition displays were prepared for the event. The culmination of the festive event “In the Frontline Forest” was a military-historical reconstruction dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Crimea. The event ended with a festive concert with the participation of creative groups from the city of Omsk.
