At the first meeting of the committee after the summer holidays, deputies considered several bills, a draft resolution of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region and other issues. In particular, the committee discussed the draft law “On class ranks of municipal employees in the Omsk region”, prepared in accordance with Part 1 of Article 9.1 of the Federal Law “On Municipal Service in the Russian Federation”. The bill establishes the names of class ranks within the group of municipal service positions and provides for the procedure for their assignment. On this issue, it was decided to recommend that the Legislative Assembly accept the draft law for consideration.

In the first reading, the deputies decided to recommend that the regional parliament adopt the draft Regulations on Deputy Ethics. Among other issues on the agenda, the committee considered the issue of proposals for the draft plan of legislative work of the committee for 2010-2012 and decided to instruct the committee deputies to submit their proposals to the draft plan by October 1.
