The Committee on Economic Policy and Investment held a meeting of the working group to prepare proposals to improve legislation in the field of regulation of retail sales of alcoholic beverages
The agenda included consideration of draft laws of the Omsk region No. 604-5 “On amendments to Article 3.1 of the Law of the Omsk Region “On state regulation of the retail sale of alcoholic beverages in the Omsk region” and “On establishing restrictions in the field of retail sales of non-alcoholic tonic drinks in the Omsk region." The working group also heard the results of inspections of compliance with legislation in the production and circulation of ethyl alcohol, alcoholic and alcohol-containing products; information on the implementation of the Comprehensive Action Plan aimed at combating the illegal trafficking of alcoholic beverages in 2014 territory of the Omsk Region. Interested discussion was sparked by proposals to amend the Law of the Omsk Region No. 717-5 “On state regulation of the retail sale of alcoholic beverages in the Omsk Region” in terms of establishing restrictions on the places and conditions for the provision of public catering services in which retail sale of alcoholic beverages. The deputies took note of the information on the implementation of measures aimed at promoting and creating a healthy lifestyle, provided for by the long-term target program of the Omsk region "New Generation" and the state program of the Omsk region "Development of physical culture and sports and the implementation of events in the field of youth policy in the Omsk region" . The working group decided to recommend that the Committee on Economic Policy and Investments adopt the draft law “On Amendments to Article 3.1 of the Law of the Omsk Region “On State Regulation of Retail Sales of Alcohol Products in the Omsk Region” in the second reading, and the draft law for consideration "On establishing restrictions in the retail sale of non-alcoholic tonic drinks in the Omsk region
