1. Main results of the work of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region for January - June 2015

In January - June 2015, the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region (hereinafter referred to as the Legislative Assembly) held 6meetings. 153 issues were considered, 198 resolutions of the Legislative Assembly were adopted.

In accordance with the decision of the Presidium of the Council of Legislators of the Russian Federation at the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation "On the preparation of a Report on the state of Russian legislation in 2014" on January 27 2015, at a meeting of the Legislative Assembly, the Report on the state of legislation of the Omsk region in 2014 was considered and taken into account. The results of the activities of the Legislative Assembly in 2014 were also considered.

In connection with the statement of the Governor of the Omsk Region V.I. Nazarov on early termination of powers and in accordance with
subparagraph "c" of paragraph 1 and subparagraph "a" of paragraph 9 of Article 19 Federal Law of October 6, 1999 No. 184-FZ "On the general principles of organization of legislative (representative) and executive bodies of state power of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation" President of the Russian Federation V.V. On May 21, at a meeting of the Legislative Assembly, Acting Governor of the Omsk Region V.I. Nazarov presented a Report on the results of the activities of the Government of the Omsk Region in 2014.

In connection with the early termination of powers of the Governor of the Omsk Region V.I. Nazarov, in accordance with subparagraph 8 of paragraph 1 of Article 38 of the Charter (Basic Law) of the Omsk Region, Article 5 of the Law of the Omsk Region “On the Election of the Governor of the Omsk Region”, the Legislative Assembly scheduled the election of the Governor of the Omsk Region for September 13, 2015.

In January - June 2015, subjects of the right of legislative initiative introduced
57 draft laws of the Omsk region, including: committees and deputies of the Legislative Assembly - 23 (48%), Governor of the Omsk Region and the Government of the Omsk Region -
34 (52%).

2. Review of laws of the Omsk region adopted in January - June 2015

The legislative activity of the Legislative Assembly in 2015 reflected the most current changes in the socio-economic situation in the Omsk region, including those requiring prompt response at the legislative level.

Participants in the legislative process focus on increasing the investment attractiveness of the region, developing the real sector of the economy, creating a healthy lifestyle, ensuring guarantees of social assistance and supporting independent economic activity of the region's population.

2.2.
Legislation of the Omsk region in the field of budget and tax policy

From the collection of the Historical Archive of the Omsk Region", housed in the Center for the Study of the History of the Civil War and dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

As part of the Year of Literature, a meeting was held between members of the Legislative Assembly Committee on Education, Science, Culture and Youth Policy with actors of the budgetary cultural institution of the Omsk Region "Omsk State Drama Theater "Fifth Theater" (May 29).

In order to improve the qualifications of the employees of the Legislative Assembly, 6 seminars were held:

"On the annual report on professional service activities, on information on income, on property and property obligations of a state civil servant of the Omsk Region" (January 23);

"Legal monitoring and incorporation of legislation in the activities of the regional parliament (on the example of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region)" (26 February);

"Difficult spelling cases: one or double "N" (March 25);

"On holding the Year of Literature in the Russian Federation in the Omsk Region". Meeting with Omsk poetesses M.A. Bezdeneshnykh and M.V. Chetverikova (April 24);

"The System of Local Self-Government Bodies" (May 27);

"For the Year of Literature. On the Expressive Means of Russian Speech" (June 26).

Training was also conducted with assistants to deputies of the Legislative Assembly on current issues of housing and communal services (March 24).

The events held by the Legislative Assembly were accompanied by both announcements and final information messages.

The official website of the Legislative Assembly on the Internet (hereinafter referred to as the website) contributed greatly to the expansion of information to the media and the public about the activities of the regional parliament.

The news feed of the website and the printed media regularly posted information reports on the results of meetings of the Legislative Assembly, its committees, working groups, parliamentary and public hearings, "round tables", off-site and other events.

83 journalists representing 24 federal, regional and city media outlets are accredited to the Legislative Assembly.

The Irtysh State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company broadcast a monthly information and analytical program about the current activities of the Legislative Assembly, "Legislator".

Work with appeals from citizens and organizations is carried out in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation and the Law of the Omsk Region No. 58-OZ "On additional guarantees of citizens' rights to appeal".

Information on the procedure for working with letters and online appeals, addresses and telephone numbers of reception offices of deputies of the Legislative Assembly in electoral districts and public reception offices are posted on the website of the Legislative Assembly (zakonodatel@omskparlament.ru).
