LEGISLATIVE

“The Legislator” is a socio-political television program about the activities of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region, aired from 1995 to 2023. The program presented a chronicle of events from meetings of the regional parliament, its committees, seminars, meetings, scientific and practical conferences, parliamentary hearings and other events of the Legislative Assembly. The television program allowed residents of the Omsk region to learn about the bills being developed in the Omsk region, about the new laws adopted in the Omsk region and about the practice of their application. “The Legislator” was published once a month.

The TV show “The Legislator” was broadcast on the “Russia” channel - State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company “Irtysh”.

2008

	The release of the program is dedicated to issues of local self-government. The program summarizes the results of the seminar-meeting dedicated to the practice of implementing the Federal Law “On the General Principles of the Organization of Local Self-Government in the Russian Federation.” Fragments of interviews with participants of the seminar-meeting are presented: Chairman of the Legislative Assembly V.A. Varnavsky, Chairman of the Council of the Kalachinsky Municipal District A.F. Negodyaev, Chairman of the Council of the Lyubinsky Municipal District V.V. Motkov, Deputy Chairman of the Council Shcherbakulsky municipal district S.V. Magda, Chairman of the Council Nazyvaevsky municipal district Z.I. Baranova. Using the example of the Druzhinsky rural settlement of the Omsk municipal district, the experience and problems of the activities of local government bodies are considered. The program contains fragments of interviews with the head and deputies of the Council of the Druzhinsky rural settlement (N.G. Abramova, T.M. Gorokhova, L. K. Mokropolova and others). The author of the program is G.A. Zhurova.
