“The Legislator” is a socio-political television program about the activities of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region, aired from 1995 to 2023. The program presented a chronicle of events from meetings of the regional parliament, its committees, seminars, meetings, scientific and practical conferences, parliamentary hearings and other events of the Legislative Assembly. The television program allowed residents of the Omsk region to learn about the bills being developed in the Omsk region, about the new laws adopted in the Omsk region and about the practice of their application. “The Legislator” was published once a month.

The TV show “The Legislator” was broadcast on the “Russia” channel - State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company “Irtysh”.2005

	The program "Legislator" (March 26, 2005) presents a report on the meeting of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region. The features of the discussion of the regional law “On Amendments to the Law of the Omsk Region “On the Regional Budget for 2005”, the draft federal law “Forest Code of the Russian Federation”, etc. are considered. The broadcast contains fragments of the speech of the Governor of the Omsk Region L.K. Polezhaev, as well as an interview with the Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region V.A. Varnavsky, First Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Omsk Region N.K. Frolova. The author of the program is G.A. Zhurova.
	The release of the program is dedicated to some aspects of the execution of the budget of the Omsk region for 2005 and planning of the regional budget for 2006. The broadcast includes fragments of meetings of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region, public hearings; broadcasts of the speech of the Governor of the Omsk Region L.K. Polezhaev, as well as interviews with the Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region V.A. Varnavsky, chairmen of the committees of the Legislative Assembly (A.V. Bezzubtsev, S.P. Kalinin, O.V. Shishov), first deputy Chairman of the Government of the Omsk Region N.K. Frolova, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Deputies of the Nizhneomsky Municipal District A.A. Ulyanov, Head of the Sedelnikovsky Municipal District N.T. Khrishchenko, Chairman of the Council of Deputies of the Shcherbakul Municipal District E.N. Sysoeva. The author of the program is G.A. 	The program "Legislator" (April 23, 2005) presents a report on the meeting of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region, held on April 21, 2005, issues discussed at the meeting: on the draft federal law on labor veterans, on amendments to the budget of the Omsk Region for 2005 , on state support for large families, on the target program of the Omsk region "Children of the Omsk Region" for 2006 - 2008 years", on remuneration of employees of organizations financed from the regional budget. The broadcast contains fragments of speeches by the Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region V.A. Varnavsky, the Governor of the Omsk Region L.K. Polezhaev, the Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Omsk Region, the Minister of Youth Affairs, Physical Culture and Sports of the Omsk Region S.V.
