“The Legislator” is a socio-political television program about the activities of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region, aired from 1995 to 2023. The program presented a chronicle of events from meetings of the regional parliament, its committees, seminars, meetings, scientific and practical conferences, parliamentary hearings and other events of the Legislative Assembly. The television program allowed residents of the Omsk region to learn about the bills being developed in the Omsk region, about the new laws adopted in the Omsk region and about the practice of their application. “The Legislator” was published once a month.

The TV show “The Legislator” was broadcast on the channel “Russia” - State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company “Irtysh”.1998

The TV program is dedicated to the meeting of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region, held on November 17, 1998. The program broadcasts fragments of the discussion of the draft law “On the title “Honorary Citizen of the Omsk Region”, as well as speeches by the Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region V.A. Varnavsky, Chairman of the Expert Committee of the Omsk Region Administration A.V. Butakov, First Deputy Head of the Omsk Region Administration region V.A.
