Legislator

“The Legislator” is a socio-political television program about the activities of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region, aired from 1995 to 2023. The program presented a chronicle of events from meetings of the regional parliament, its committees, seminars, meetings, scientific and practical conferences, parliamentary hearings and other events of the Legislative Assembly. The television program allowed residents of the Omsk region to learn about the bills being developed in the Omsk region, about the new laws adopted in the Omsk region and about the practice of their application. “The Legislator” was published once a month.

	The first issue of a special thematic program dedicated to the activities of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region. The program describes the role and structure of the Legislative Assembly, the specifics of the issues that the Assembly considers and decides. Presented are interviews with the Chairman of the Legislative Assembly V.A. Varnavsky, chairmen of the committees of the Legislative Assembly: I.D. Litskevich (committee on financial and budgetary policy), L.G. Gorynin (committee on education, science and culture), V.I. Lukashenko (committee on agrarian policy), Deputy A.A. 	The program "Legislator" is dedicated to the discussion of the draft charter of the Omsk region at a meeting of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk region of the first convocation (1995). The program broadcasts speeches by the discussion participants (member of the Advisory Council of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region A.V. Butakov, Chairman of the Omsk regional organization "Free Democratic Party of Russia" A.V. Tsalko, Chairman of the regional movement "Forward, Russia!" A.A. Starostina and others). 	The program "Legislator" is dedicated to the meeting of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region, at which the discussion and adoption of the Charter (Basic Law) of the Omsk Region took place (December 26, 1995). The program broadcasts speeches by Deputy Chairman of the Legislative Assembly A.F. Razin, Chairman of the Committee of Legislative Assumptions, Law and Order of the Legislative Assembly N.P. Kovyrshin, Head of the Justice Department of the Omsk Region Administration V.M. Budylka, as well as interview with deputies of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk region K.I. Podosinnikov, A.A. Alekhin, member of the Advisory Council of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region A.N. Kostyukov. The author and presenter of the program is V.M. Ageev.
	The program "Legislator" broadcasts an interview with the Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region V.A. Varnavsky on the status of the Omsk Region as a subject of the Russian Federation and the activities of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region of the first convocation. 	The release of the program is dedicated to the activities of the Committee on Industry, Construction and Investment of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region (1995). The program broadcasts an interview with members of the committee, deputies of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region P.Yu. Satonkin and O.V. Chertov.
