On the agenda of the meeting of the Committee of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region on Economic Policy and Investment, held on February 9, 2023, deputies reviewed draft laws of the Omsk Region, discussed information on the road management system of the Omsk Region, the progress of the implementation of the regional program of the Omsk Region to improve the quality of water supply and adopted decisions on other issues.

Deputies of the Committee on Agrarian Policy, Natural Resources and Ecology of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region discussed the draft law of the Omsk Region at a meeting on February 9, 2023. In addition, we considered changes to the Code of the Omsk Region on Administrative Offences, the execution of the regional budget under the sections “Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Omsk Region” and “Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Omsk Region” in 2022. They also heard the report of the Chamber of Control and Accounts of the Omsk Region and made decisions on other issues.

On February 9, 2023, the Social Policy Committee of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region at a meeting reviewed draft regional laws, the report of the Chamber of Control and Accounts of the Omsk Region on the results of the control event, discussed the issue of social adaptation of persons released from institutions of the penal system, and also discussed information about changes in federal legislation and other issues.

On February 9, 2023, the Financial and Budgetary Policy Committee of the regional parliament reviewed the draft law of the Omsk region "On amendments to the Law of the Omsk region "On the regional budget for 2022 and for the planning period of 2023 and 2024", discussed changes to certain laws of the Omsk region in the field budgetary legal relations and also heard information about changes in federal legislation in the areas of the committee’s activities and made decisions on other issues.

Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region Vladimir Varnavsky and Governor of the Omsk Region Alexander Burkov congratulated scientific workers on the holiday.

On February 8, 2023, a meeting of the Committee on Legislation and Local Self-Government of the regional parliament was held. At it, deputies reviewed draft laws of the Omsk region, as well as information on changes in federal legislation and draft federal laws and appeals from legislative (representative) bodies of state power of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation.

The Committee on Education, Science, Culture and Youth Policy of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region held a meeting on February 8, 2023, at which it discussed the draft regional law, the activities of the autonomous cultural institution of the Omsk Region "Omsk Philharmonic" and other issues.

At the first plenary meeting of the regional parliament in the spring session, deputies discussed bills concerning amendments to the Omsk Region Code of Administrative Offences, on the social protection of certain categories of citizens

On January 19, 2023, the Social Policy Committee of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region held its regular meeting, at which it discussed in the first reading draft law No. 1572-7 “On protecting the health of the population of the Omsk region”, draft law No. 1575-7 “On amendments to certain laws of the Omsk region" and other important social issues.

The corresponding bill was considered by the regional parliament committee on agrarian policy, natural resources and ecology at its first meeting in the spring session, held on January 19, 2023. In addition, the deputies discussed the results and work plans of the parliament and the committee, reports of the Chamber of Control and Accounts of the Omsk Region and a bill providing, in particular, for the possibility of citizens living in the city of Omsk obtaining land plots for free in municipal areas of the Omsk Region.

On January 19, 2023, the financial and budgetary policy committee of the regional parliament considered the relevant bill at its first meeting in the spring session. Other issues were also discussed, including organizational ones.

On January 19, 2023, the Committee of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region on Economic Policy and Investment held a meeting at which deputies discussed draft regional laws, the implementation of the Omsk Region Law of December 28, 2005 No. 722-OZ “On the state policy of the Omsk Region in the housing sector”, report Chamber of Control and Accounts of the Omsk Region and other issues.

On January 18, 2023, the corresponding bill was considered at the first meeting of the spring session by the regional parliament committee on legislation and local government. The agenda also included issues related to the results and work plans of the parliament and the committee, elections of deputies and the procedure for electing representatives of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region in the qualification commission of the Chamber of Lawyers of the Omsk Region.

On January 18, 2023, the Committee of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region on Education, Science, Culture and Youth Policy held a meeting at which it discussed the draft of a new regional law, the report of the Chamber of Control and Accounts of the Omsk Region, work plans and other issues.

The Property Committee of the regional parliament, at its first meeting in the spring session, held on January 17, 2023, considered questions about the current state and prospects for the development of the budgetary institution of the Omsk region "Sports and Concert Complex named after Viktor Blinov", about plans for legislative work of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk region for 2023 year, information about the activities of the committee and the work of the regional parliament in 2022, other information.

On December 22, 2022, the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region held a meeting with the participation of non-parliamentary parties. There was one question on the agenda - about proposals from regional branches of political parties not represented in the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region on certain areas of socio-economic development of the Omsk Region.

At the final plenary session of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region, held on December 22, 2022, deputies of the regional parliament discussed three dozen issues. Laws have been adopted on the regional budget for 2023 and for the planning period of 2024 and 2025, on the budget of the territorial compulsory health insurance fund, on benefits for those mobilized, as well as laws aimed at expanding and improving social support measures for certain categories of citizens.

Today, December 15, the next meeting of the Social Policy Committee took place. The agenda included three bills presented to the deputies, as well as information within the competence of the committee.

At a meeting of the Committee on Agrarian Policy, Natural Resources and Ecology, held on December 15, deputies discussed several bills and also heard information on the areas of the committee’s activities.
