Today, the Committee on Economic Policy and Investments of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region held a round table on the topic “On issues related to the overhaul of apartment buildings in the Omsk Region.”

More than two dozen issues were considered by deputies of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region at the first plenary meeting of the autumn session held today. Changes to the regional budget, regulation of land relations, subsoil use, major repairs in apartment buildings, expansion of social support measures for citizens and other issues were discussed.

A visiting meeting of the regional parliament committee on education, science, culture and youth policy was held on the issue “On the implementation of the Concept for the development of additional education for children, approved by order of the Government of the Russian Federation of September 4, 2014 No. 1726-r, in the Omsk region.” The event took place on the territory of the Children's Ecological and Biological Center.

New bills, the report of the Chamber of Control and Accounts of the Omsk Region and other issues were considered by the Committee of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region on Economic Policy and Investments.

Changes to the Omsk Region Code on social protection of certain categories of citizens and other issues were considered at a regular meeting by the committee on social policy of the regional parliament.

A meeting of the Committee of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region on Agrarian Policy, Natural Resources and Ecology was held, at which bills in the field of regulation of land relations, reports of the Chamber of Control and Accounts of the Omsk Region and other issues were considered.

A meeting of the financial and budgetary policy committee of the regional parliament was held

From September 20 to 22, 2017, the first meetings of relevant committees in the autumn session will be held in the regional parliament. Today, meetings of the Property Committee and the Legislation and Local Government Committee took place.

On July 25, 2017, at the initiative of the Committee on Economic Policy and Investments of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region, parliamentary hearings were held on the topic “On measures to protect the rights of participants in the shared construction of apartment buildings in the Omsk Region.”

On July 14, 2017, Deputy Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region A.V. Artemov held a working meeting with the Chairman of the Committee on Economic Policy and Investments D.S. Shishkin and Deputy Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Complex of the Omsk Region S.V. Koshelev, at which a range of problems in the field of shared-equity construction were discussed.

At the last meeting of the Legislative Assembly in the spring session, held on July 6, 2017, deputies considered bills providing for the provision of social support measures to certain categories of citizens, more prompt action in the event of the threat, occurrence and elimination of emergency situations, as well as the establishment of a new honorary title for the Omsk region. In addition, concluding the next parliamentary session, the Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region, Vladimir Varnavsky, summed up the work of the Assembly.

The first meeting of the operational working group was held under the Committee of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region on Social Policy to prepare proposals for improving the regulatory legal acts of the Omsk Region regulating the provision of social support measures to young professionals working in the field of healthcare, education, culture (including measures aimed for housing).
