The Committee of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region on Legislation and Local Self-Government reviewed bills amending the laws on elections of deputies of the regional parliament and the Governor of the Omsk Region, as well as information from the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Omsk Region.

The results of the regional competition of creative works on legal issues have been summed up. It was organized by the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region among students and graduate students of educational institutions of higher education in legal specialties.

Deputies approved the first changes to the regional budget for 2019-2021, considered bills regulating housing policy, healthcare, forestry relations, and other issues.

At the next meeting, the financial and budgetary policy committee of the regional parliament considered bills amending the regional budget and other issues.

A visiting meeting of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region Committee on Social Policy was held at the Bolshekulachinsky Special Boarding Home for the Elderly and Disabled.

New bills relating to environmental protection and regulation of forest relations were considered, among others, by the Committee of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region on Agrarian Policy, Natural Resources and Ecology.

At a meeting of the committee on economic policy and investment of the regional parliament, bills regulating various issues in the housing sector and other information were considered.

A meeting of the working group was held under the Committee of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region on Education, Science, Culture and Youth Policy to improve legislation in the field of state youth policy in the Omsk Region.

Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region Vladimir Varnavsky expressed deep sympathy and sincere condolences to family and friends in connection with the death of the honorary citizen of the Omsk Region, Honored Worker of Culture of the RSFSR, veteran of the Great Patriotic War Nina Nikandrovna Brevnova.

The Committee on Property of the regional parliament held a round table on the topic "On the implementation of legislation regulating the procedure for transferring for use heat supply facilities that are state or municipal property, local governments and business entities."

Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region Vladimir Varnavsky expressed sincere condolences and deep sympathy to the staff of OJSC "Ompo Radiozavod im. A.S. Popov" (RELERO), relatives and friends in connection with the death of the adviser to the general director of OJSC "Ompo "Radio Plant named after A.S. Popov" (RELERO), deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region of the first convocation Boleslav Stanislavovich Bukovsky.
