The Financial and Budgetary Policy Committee of the regional parliament considered several topical issues at its regular meeting.

Deputies of the regional parliament at the plenary meeting held today considered several dozen issues. Bills on tourism activities, on the Ombudsman for Children's Rights, on tax benefits for organizations, and on solving the problems of participants in shared construction were discussed. In addition, parliamentarians reviewed current drafts of two federal laws aimed at improving the legislation of the Russian Federation in the field of procurement to meet state and municipal needs.

On April 9, 2019, the regional parliament hosted an awards ceremony for the winners and participants of the regional journalistic competition for the best information materials dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region. The diplomas were presented by the Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region, Vladimir Varnavsky.

At the next meeting, the Committee on Legislation and Local Self-Government considered changes to election laws, issues regarding the implementation of regional legislation, the appointment of a justice of the peace in the Omsk region, and others.

A meeting of the Social Policy Committee took place today. Several regional bills were submitted for discussion by deputies. In accordance with the changed federal legislation, it is proposed to make appropriate clarifications to them.

The Committee on Financial and Budgetary Policy at its regular meeting considered several bills, including amendments to the regional law on property tax of organizations.

At the meeting of the Committee on Agrarian Policy, Natural Resources and Ecology held today, several pressing issues were considered.

A meeting of the Committee on Education, Science, Culture and Youth Policy was held. It discussed the development of youth policy in the Omsk region, a draft law on tourism activities in the Omsk region and other information.

The Committee on Economic Policy and Investments of the regional parliament held a regular meeting at which it considered issues of gasification of the Omsk region, the report of the Chamber of Control and Accounts of the Omsk region and other information.

The Property Committee held a regular meeting, at which the main item on the agenda was information on the provision of land plots to certain categories of citizens in 2018 in the Omsk region.

On March 25, 2019, in the exhibition hall of the House of Artists, an award ceremony took place for the winners and laureates of the regional exhibition-competition of children's art creativity “I draw my native land,” dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region.

On March 25, 2019, the Youth Chamber of Deputies at the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region held a regular meeting, considering issues about the 25th anniversary of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region, about preparations for celebrating the anniversaries of student groups, and about the work plan for the year.

Today, the Committee on Social Policy held a round table meeting on the topic “On the organization and conduct of quality control of medical care in medical organizations in the Omsk region and the effectiveness of prompt response to citizens’ appeals on issues of quality and accessibility of medical care.”

At the plenary meeting held today, deputies of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region reviewed the reports of the heads of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for the Omsk Region and the KSP of the Omsk Region. In addition, parliamentarians approved innovations to the law on the overhaul of common property in apartment buildings, discussed bills on the protection of the rights of shareholders, and also accepted for consideration a new bill regulating the activities of the Commissioner for Children's Rights in the Omsk Region.

Today in the Omsk State Regional Scientific Library named after. A.S. Pushkin, the grand opening of the book and illustration exhibition “High Service to the People and the Fatherland” took place. It is dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region. The event was attended by deputies of the regional parliament, invitees and representatives of the media.

The Property Committee of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region held a regular meeting. It discussed issues of property management in the Omsk region, the report of the Chamber of Control and Accounts of the Omsk region and other information.

Draft laws on the regulation of forest relations, environmental protection, production and consumption waste in the Omsk region were again included in the agenda of the next meeting of the Committee on Agrarian Policy, Natural Resources and Ecology.

A meeting of the social policy committee was held. Two new regional bills and one federal bill were submitted for discussion by deputies.
