With this justification, deputies of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region accepted for consideration some draft laws at the first plenary meeting of the spring session, held on January 26, 2023.

On December 22, 2022, the regional parliament adopted the Law of the Omsk Region “On the regional budget for 2023 and for the planning period of 2024 and 2025”, having considered the amendments received to the document. The total volume of regional budget revenues for 2023 was approved in the amount of 124 billion rubles, expenses - 128 billion rubles. One of the priorities of budget policy is the implementation of national projects

On November 24, 2022, deputies of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region adopted in the first reading the draft law of the Omsk Region “On the regional budget for 2023 and for the planning period of 2024 and 2025.”  As noted by the speaker of the regional parliament, Vladimir Varnavsky, the presented draft budget has undergone serious development.

At the next meeting of the regional parliament, held on October 20, 2022, the governor of the Omsk region delivered a message to the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk region on the state of affairs in the Omsk region, outlining the main tasks and main directions of development of the region.

The events were attended by Chairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matvienko, Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region Vladimir Varnavsky, Governor of the Omsk Region Alexander Burkov, representatives of state authorities of the constituent entity of the Russian Federation, heads of the largest enterprises of the Omsk Irtysh region.

On September 22, 2022, the regional parliament held its first plenary meeting in the autumn session. At it, deputies adopted the Law of the Omsk Region “On Amendments to the Charter (Basic Law) of the Omsk Region.”
