On March 23-26, 2015, the 28th plenary session of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe (CLRAA) took place in Strasbourg. On February 19, 2015, at a regular meeting, the regional parliament adopted the law “On Amendments to the Law of the Omsk Region “On the Regulation of Forest Relations in the Omsk Region”, aimed at increasing the efficiency of forest use and reproduction

On January 27, 2015, the regional parliament held its first meeting in the spring session. It reviewed draft laws relating to business activities, regulation of forest relations, social adaptation of certain categories of citizens and other bills. In addition, the deputies heard several reports, appointed the chairman of the Chamber of Control and Accounts of the Omsk Region and approved the Plan of main activities for the preparation and holding of the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945

On December 25, the Legislative Assembly approved the main financial document of the Omsk region for the next three years - the Law of the Omsk Region "On the regional budget for 2015 and for the planning period of 2016 and 2017"

On October 23, the regional parliament held two meetings.
