On April 12, 2019, a ceremonial meeting of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region, dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the regional parliament, was held in the organ and chamber music hall of the Omsk Philharmonic. It was attended by deputies of six convocations, Governor of the Omsk Region Alexander Burkov, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Alexander Zhukov and other honored guests.

On April 11, 2019, the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region adopted a law that establishes various options for solving the problems of participants in shared housing construction included in the register of citizens whose funds were raised for the construction of apartment buildings and whose rights were violated.

On March 14, 2019, the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region at its regular plenary meeting considered draft federal law No. 657895-7 “On amendments to Article 121 of the Federal Law “On State Social Assistance” (in terms of determining the amount of social supplement to pensions for non-working pensioners), noting, that there are no amendments to it. The bill provides that the amount of the monthly supplement to the pensioner’s minimum subsistence level established in the region is not subject to revision in connection with the indexation of pensions and one-time cash payments.

On March 7, 2019, deputies of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region supported a draft federal law developed in order to implement the Address of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin to the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation dated February 20, 2019 and providing that recipients of social supplements to pensions will always be provided with payment of indexation amounts in excess of the established one in a subject of the Russian Federation the living wage of a pensioner.

On February 14, 2019, deputies of the regional parliament adopted the law “On Amendments to the Law of the Omsk Region “On the Regional Budget for 2019 and for the Planning Period of 2020 and 2021.” In accordance with it, the parameters of the main financial document of the Omsk Irtysh region for the next three years were clarified.

On January 24, 2019, the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region opened its spring session. Deputies adopted an important social law defining the procedure for collecting dead wood for citizens' own needs. In addition, parliamentarians considered primary organizational issues.

On December 20, 2018, the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region adopted the regional budget for 2019 and for the planning period of 2020 and 2021. Other important laws were adopted, including those aimed at developing social policy and the economy of the Omsk region.

On November 29, 2018, the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region adopted in the first reading the revised draft law “On the regional budget for 2019 and for the planning period of 2020 and 2021.” The 2019 budget takes into account additional funds from the federal budget.

On November 22, 2018, public hearings were held in the conference hall of the regional government on the draft law of the Omsk region “On the regional budget for 2019 and for the planning period of 2020 and 2021.” About 300 people gathered to get acquainted with the main financial document of the Omsk Irtysh region for the next three years.
