Under the chairmanship of the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, Vladimir Varnavsky, those gathered plan to discuss current issues of socio-economic development of the region. Particular attention will be paid to the development of agricultural production, passenger services by road transport in the region, as well as the powers of local governments in the sphere of regulating land and property relations.

At the plenary meeting held today, deputies of the Legislative Assembly considered a number of draft laws aimed at the social and economic development of the Omsk Irtysh region, increasing revenues and expenses of the regional budget for 2016, approved for a period of ten years a scheme of single-mandate electoral districts for holding elections of deputies of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk region, and also terminated the powers of regional parliament deputy Maxim Mikhailenko ahead of schedule. Other issues were also considered.
