The Committee of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region on Economic Policy and Investment held a regular meeting on July 3, 2024, at which it considered draft laws aimed at supporting certain categories of citizens, creating conditions for investment activities, as well as issues related to communal infrastructure in the Omsk Region, and reports of the Chamber of Control and Accounts of the Omsk Region.

The relevant bills were considered at the next meeting of the Social Policy Committee of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region, which took place on July 4, 2024. The parliamentarians also discussed issues of social protection of certain categories of citizens, the implementation of the state program, the report of the Chamber of Control and Accounts of the Omsk Region and others.

The meeting of the committee on agrarian policy, natural resources and ecology of the regional parliament, held on July 4, 2024, was devoted to issues of environmental protection, regulation of forest relations, implementation of regional state programs and others.

The draft law was discussed on July 4, 2024 at the regular meeting of the Committee of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region of Financial and Budgetary Policy. New changes in federal legislation and other issues were considered.

Every year on June 22, as part of the all-Russian “Candle of Memory” campaign, candles are lit throughout Russia in memory of those who performed a feat during the Great Patriotic War.

Today, June 22, 2024, events are being held in the Omsk region dedicated to the Day of Memory and Sorrow - the 83rd anniversary of the start of the Great Patriotic War. On this day, the generation of winners is honored throughout the country - soldiers who died on the battlefields, who did not live to see the Great Victory, front-line soldiers, home front workers, blockade survivors, and prisoners of fascist concentration camps.

On June 21, 2024, the next graduation ceremony took place at the Omsk Cadet Military Corps. On June 20, 2024, the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region adopted the law “On Amendments to the Law of the Omsk Region “On State Regulation of Retail Sales of Alcohol Products in the Omsk Region”, developed in order to improve the legislative regulation of the retail sale of alcohol products and reduce the volume of alcohol consumption by the population of the Omsk Region and the number of facts of violation of public order by persons under the influence of alcohol, promotion of a healthy lifestyle.

On June 20, 2024, at the next meeting of the regional parliament, deputies adopted the Law of the Omsk Region “On Amendments to the Law of the Omsk Region “On the Protection of Atmospheric Air in the Omsk Region.” The document is aimed at improving the provisions of regional legislation.
