  Born June 5, 1950 in state farm-2, Ulyanovsk (now Omsk) district, Omsk region.

  Education:
  higher, in 1972 graduated from the Ural State University named after A.M. Gorky, specializing in "Journalism".

  Work experience:
 From 1966 to 1967 - literary worker of the Nizhneomsk regional newspaper "Voskhod".
 From 1967 to 1972 - student of the Ural State University.
 From 1972 to 1986 - literary worker, special correspondent and head of department of the newspaper "Amurskaya Pravda" (Blagoveshchensk, Amur Region).
 From 1986 to 1989 - special correspondent of the newspaper "Selskaya Zhizn" in the Far East (Amur Region and   Khabarovsk Territory).
 From 1989 to 1994 - special correspondent of the newspaper "Selskaya Zhizn" in Omsk, Tyumen and Kurgan region.
 From 1994 to 1995 - employee of the Trud-Express agency.
 From 1995 to 1996 - chief specialist of the Omsk City Administration, Omsk Region.
 From 1996 to 2016 - assistant to a State Duma deputy (six convocations), editor of the Krasny Put newspaper.
 
 In 2016, he was elected as a deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region of the sixth convocation in a single regional electoral district from the Omsk regional branch of the political party "COMMUNIST PARTY OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION", member of the committee on agrarian policy, natural resources and ecology and the committee on education, science, culture and   youth policy.
 In 2021, he was elected as a deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region of the seventh convocation in a single regional electoral district from the Omsk   regional branch of the political party "COMMUNIST PARTY OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION", head of the "CPRF" faction in the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region, member of the committee on agrarian policy, natural resources and ecology, member of the committee on education, science, culture and youth policy.

 Currently – head of the CPRF faction of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region, deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region on a professional permanent basis.

 Awarded:

• Medal "For the Construction of the Baikal-Amur Mainline";
• CPRF awards.

 Hobbies: chess; Russian, Latin American and English literature; Russian philosophy.

 Marital status: married, two sons.
