Valery Mikhailovich Kokorin is the general director of the company "ASK", deputy chairman of the public movement "New City". Born August 10, 1949 in Nagorno-Ivanovka, Tarsky District, Omsk Region. Graduated from high school in Tara, GPTU No. 54 in Omsk, and the history department of the Omsk State Pedagogical Institute.

Since 1994, he has headed the construction company "ASK", which has erected more than 50 buildings in Omsk: the Kaskad and Continent shopping malls, the Nativity of Christ Cathedral and the domes of the Assumption Cathedral, the surgical building of the oncology dispensary and industrial enterprises, the Rubin Community Center and the Boxing Palace, and residential buildings.
